How long have you been at Health Partners?

I started in August 2023, so 1 year and 4 months if my maths is correct – or 16 months to quote my tenure like a proud parent.

Why did you join Health Partners?

I started my professional career at a member-owned bank where I gained an appreciation for community-minded organisations. I’m also a passionate South Aussie, I love this state, so I jumped at an opportunity to work in CX for a South-Australian owned not-for-profit where I could contribute, grow, and learn in a new industry.

What team do you work in and what’s your current role?

I work in Customer Experience as the Experience Design Lead. My key responsibilities are research, insights and experience design. I lead teams across the business to identify opportunities for improvement and address member pain-points.

Health Partners is made up of different sides. We have different teams, projects and specialties. Which side do you appreciate the most?

I could say that I appreciate our people side the most - working with clever, friendly, and supportive colleagues – who are occasionally funny too. I could also say that I love getting to talk to our members – they have a real passion for our brand and are eager to help us make things better. But I think the side I appreciate the most is the opportunity I’m afforded in this role and business to be creative. It keeps me (and I hope others I work with) engaged in the work, allows us to try new or different things, and at the end of the day hopefully we get better outcomes for it.

We’re for all sides of SA – what’s your go-to SA recommendation?

I always tell my interstate friends visiting Adelaide if they have a spare few hours, head to Henley Beach and grab a coffee and gelato from Bottega Gelateria. Eating freshly made ice-cream, with a little latte, at the beach… *** chef’s kiss *** 👨‍🍳 👌😘
