To ensure you can continue to access high quality health care, these changes are intended to improve the value of our health cover and ensure it remains affordable for all members.

Why do Premiums change?

Being a not-for-profit health fund means we’re always looking for ways to keep premiums as low as possible. While this means premiums can sometimes stay the same, there are many factors that contribute to increases in the cost of healthcare.

Benefit updates

Changes to co-payments at Health Partners participating podiatrists

We have an agreement with Sportsmed Morphett Value Podiatry to offer favourable pricing to our members. We review this agreement annually, and while we’ve maintained favourable pricing, there will be an increase in fees charged. As a result, we’ve adjusted your co-payments. You can see the new amounts below.

These changes are effective 1 April 2025. The change is automatic, so no action is required. If you would like to discuss your options, please reach out to our Cover Confidence team on (08) 8225 9675.

Benefits apply at Sportsmed Morphett Value until your Podiatry Limit is reached.

Terms and Conditions and waiting periods apply, you will not need to re-serve waiting periods if already served.

Updating our Financial Hardship Suspension Fund Rules

Maintaining your private health insurance provides peace of mind for life’s curveballs. To support our members through cost-of-living pressures, we’ve updated our Financial Hardship Fund Rules to provide more flexibility for members experiencing financial hardship, but doing their best to remain active with their cover.

These changes are effective 1 April 2025. The change is automatic, so no action is required. If you would like to discuss your options, you can learn more about our financial hardship options or reach out to our local Cover Confidence team on (08) 8225 9675.

Updating our Fund Rules for Adding a Newborn

We’ve made changes to encourage leniency to the timeframe to add a newborn dependant to your cover. This means that the timeframe to add a newborn dependant to a policy will be extended to allow more time as outlined below.

This change is effective 1 April 2025. The change is automatic so no action is required, but if you would like to discuss your options, you can call our local Cover Confidence team on (08) 8225 9675.
