These recipes from our friends at Sprout are proof that dessert doesn’t need to be overly complicated to be delicious, and can still contain wholesome ingredients for better nutrition. We’ve compiled 5 dessert recipes to try during the cooler months - save these for next time you’re on dessert duty!

Upside down blood orange cakes


This dessert looks fancy, but only takes 30 minutes to come together and can be made the day before serving and stored at room temperature. If you can’t find blood oranges, sub out for standard oranges instead – you’ll still get that healthy dose of vitamin C.
